A Warm Welcome to Our Military Families

Vista Hills Elementary is honored to serve the families of our nation's military. We are deeply committed to providing a welcoming community and an outstanding educational experience for your children, ensuring their transition to our campus is as smooth and supportive as possible.

At Vista Hills Elementary, we are proud to build a strong, inclusive, and supportive community to assist our military-connected students and families through:

  • Student Ambassador Program:

    • We ensure every new student feels welcomed and connected from day one.

    • Our Ambassadors are trained to help transitioning students by providing key information, fostering a sense of belonging, and creating opportunities to make new friends.

  • Month of the Military Child (April):

    • We proudly honor the unique sacrifices and resilience of our military-connected children and their families. We host special school-wide events all month long to celebrate these incredible students.

  • Annual Veterans Day Celebration:

    • We are privileged to host our local veterans and active-duty military members for a special celebration. We honor their service with a patriotic presentation and invite families to join in a fun, hands-on creative project..

We are here to assist you every step of the way. Please do not hesitate to reach out to our dedicated Military Liaison with any questions or for support.
